For my post-secondary plan, I want to become a programmer. In order to do this, I’ll need to not only learn how to code but somehow acquire an internship. After graduating im immediately heading to the Oregon Institute of technology and start taking classes there. From what I’ve researched they have a partnership with Intel that I am going to attempt to capitalize on. If that doesn’t go well, I personally know someone who works for that company who would be more than happy to recommend me for some type of postion. If you get recommended for a role at a job you that someone already works at and is a good worker for, it is very likely that you will be chosen. After this, I’ll slowly climb up the corporate ladder in order to get a job that im happy with. I’ve already started on this plan by taking a computer science class at COA to start learning more about computers and programming. I learned a lot from it and im going to start using this knowledge to further myself in the future.
